Isle of May

I have to say I have just had one of the best days ever taking photos. We saw so many puffins. My friend had said I would but I did not expect as many as we did see. They are just beautiful and so full of character.  I didn't expect to see them so close up either with the added bonus of not having to walk along any cliff tops like places nearer hand where they come in.  I have a new high regard for them and other seabirds that travel all the distance they do and then come back to the same partner and hole to raise their young year after year. We really do live in an incredible world.
