Friday started with paperwork in the office on the day we welcomed 422 new children’s panel members to the CHS Community.

Then down to Leith for a video shoot in preparation for Volunteers Week. I was first up, followed by 2 Area Conveners, a new Panel member appointed today, an existing hound panel member, someone looking to apply this summer and some care experienced young people. Good fun too.

Then off to Paisley for an evening recognising long serving panel members - one has clocked up 35 years - and also welcoming Renfrewshire’s new cohort.

Back to Edinburgh just before midnight.
