Up First

With Chris having joined me (Annie) in Switzerland last night, it was time to venture back into the mountains together. As I enjoyed my trip up Grindelwald-First so much yesterday, and knew Chris would also love it, we headed back there today.

It was cloudier and wetter today, which just made the scenery more dramatic. It was also useful in that it put a number of people off heading up the mountain, so the attractions (like the Sky Walk in the Extra) were less busy.

At the top, by the big banks of snow, we met this friendly fox - who was out calmly checking passers by for food. No one gave him anything while we were there, which is good - don't want him to be reliant on unhealthy human food - but it must be worth his while usually.

We headed back for a lovely evening meal with out hosts. Good food and chatter. Lovely.
