Silly Saturday: Silly Tree

A few days ago we decided to spend a couple of nights in Keswick this weekend. This is partly because blip buddies Technophobe and LooseCanon are staying here in their cottage at the moment. So we had a lovely blipmeet meal with them this evening and will meet them again tomorrow.

As we arrived in Keswick in the early afternoon, we decided to spend the spare time in the lovely sunshine. After a picnic lunch at Ashness Bridge we parked the car at Surprise View and walked along the river to Watendlath. There were loads of blippertunities but I chose this photo of a silly tree as my main blip: it looks as if it couldn't decide which was was "up" when it started growing!

The extra is the view towards Derwentwater from beneath Ashness Bridge. It was fortunate that the water level in the stream was quite low, otherwise it would have been very silly of me to venture under there with my camera.
