Early morn'

I was up at the crack of dawn. Hubby saw 4 snowy white egrets on the shore behind our house. The wind has been blowing from the NE for a few days now and the high tides are starting to show themselves. We have also had 9+'' of rain in the past week so we are under water. Probably why these beautiful birds were so close by. When I opened the back door three flew away but I caught this one and then it also flew.
My father took a fall early this morning also. We spent the day at the hospital getting him checked out. It was a very long day but in the end he got to come home just a bit sore and feeling better than he did when he arrived there this morning.
