Dereliction

A very late night watching the Royal wedding.  Loved the whole affair from all the lead up to the procession and pageant at the end....a 7 hour epic.  
My thoughts on THE DRESS - whilst she looked elegant and stunning, I thought the dress very plain. The beautiful veil made up for the dress.
George Clooney's wife stole the show without even trying, Posh looked like she was going to a funeral, Eugenie and Beatrice looked frumpy and Camilla's flying saucer hat.....
I thought of Diana often as I watched.

We were invited out for lunch today, met at a local cafe and had a good catchup, very enjoyable.  Then quite by accident we met my cousin and his wife so went into the Botanical Gardens (with ice creams) and chatted for over an hour.

Its been very very windy, lots of broken branches about and if we thought it was still autumn, not anymore  as all the leaves are now on the ground swirling about looking for a place to settle.

Didn't have a blip, so went for a wee detour on the way home and photographed this old shed surrounded with gorse.  I didn't linger as there were two very large dogs with throaty barks in the yard.
