Red Beauty

This lovely red tulip is one of the last for this season - it is really different - with a very dense flower head rather like a peony but unlike the peony does not drop its petals early -It has been a great year for tulips in the garden - I am attempting to dry the bulbs for next spring - but will certainly restock
