A Day At A Time.

Pink Tones

We started an action-packed day with an exciting morning of racing go-carts at Estepona's answer to the Eboladrome.

And although I came last in my race (well, we were racing a bunch of 20- and 30-something friends of Lloyd's, as this was his birthday fun), I did have the most improved lap-time, shaving 8 seconds off. Unfortunately I span off the track on a nasty left-hander and it took me 20 seconds to get going again.

It was huge fun and definitely something to do again.

Then a goggle at the Wedding, before heading up to Málaga in the evening to a concert by the Pink Tones, Spain's Pink Floyd tribute act.

They were good. Not great, as expected judging from Youtube videos we have watched, but good none-the-less. The standards were very well performed and a highlight for Dave and me was Dark Side and Wish You Were Here played in their entirety.

Unfortunately a few rather obscure and less well known songs slowed the momentum a bit. And nothing post Roger Waters.

But Run Like Hell and Comfortably Numb were terrific and ended the show on a real high.

20 euros for 3 hours of Floyd without a break is pretty good value, even to the most critical aficionadi like us!
