Brighton Beach

I've been housesitting the past month for American academic friends away to the States for weddings and family. It's been a refuge to get away, and go inward watching over their place this past month with Kiwi the cat for company. Today I tidied up and picked them up at the airport before heading to my new home (place no. 4 in the past 3 months).

It was a rare, sunny warm day that finally felt like a proper spring. On the way to the airport I took a detour to Brighton Beach for a run in the surf. You can just make out some people to the right for scale.
