Mailbox Pheasant

What's a herd of pheasants called? I don't know but I saw them today on Old Sheridan Road, a gaggle of them, eight or so. This rooster was expecting a letter.

Author's note: I've been informed by my hardworking research team that a pair of pheasants is a brace (knew that), a family group of pheasants is a brood, and a large group is a nye or nyde (no idea about that one). Thanks, DF!
