Home from Northumberland and Family Meal
We had a good drive home from Northumberland with a stop at the Metro Centre on the way back and a chance to re-enact my mums favourite visit to Debenhams for a second breakfast of toasted fruit bread and coffee. The roads weren’t too bad, so maybe there were a lot of Royal Wedding watchers or maybe even Cup Final watchers.
We arrived back to find the foundations of a castle (created from tananlised sleepers) erected on the patch of land that belongs to our new neighbours. It looks like the kind of permanent structure that should have planning permission!
Finally a family meal to say goodbye to my brother who has flown back to the US today and also to wish me a belated Happy Birthday.
