Strange beast

If yesterday was quiet, then today has been somnolent. We went out wandering this morning, and our wander included multiple stops where I read my book (see extra) and Mr A did video and timelapse. Our wanders took us around the bay, and sadly one of the pairs of nesting grebes (the one featured in this blip) no longer has any eggs on the nest, although the birds themselves are still around in the same part of the bay. The other one is still there. It was lovely in the sunshine, although it hasn't been the warmest day today. This has been our last quiet weekend for a while, so we've taken advantage of the opportunity to be a bit lazy.
