Titus
a portrait
in light and shade
sir titus
For blip #700, one of thirteen carved heads set in roundels around Bradford's Wool Exchange. On the Bank Street side are famous explorers, like the previously blipped Christopher Columbus and Francis Drake, while the Market Street side features political and industrial figures of the Victorian era.
At this time of year the morning light catches some of the heads, and the deep shadows of Titus Salt's beard look particularly impressive.
Shame about the pigeons.
