Weed Challenge
Yesterday we brought a trailer full of weed to the collecting place.
This evening, the trailer is again almost full. And I tidied up only a smal part of the garden....
While fighting with the weed, I thought about weed challenge.
So, in agreement with the Hanulli garden specialists the winners are:
#5: Clover - winner in the category annoying in the grass.
It's unpossible to remove it and while florishing it is a lure for bees, that makes running barefoot too dangerous.
#4: Dandelion - winner in the category annoying in gaps in the path.
A very clever and resistant plant, which can survive in with a very little piece remaining in the ground. Most adaptable and makes nice emergency blips. For lovers of green overgrown pathes.
#3: Lilac - winner in the category big plants.
It has to share its place with hazelnut and dogwood. It seems to be impossible to get rid of them...
#2: Blackberry - winner in the category painful plants.
Its naughty thorns pierce through the thickest gardening gloves. Resistant against every treatment and able to climb over trees to get to new places to be annoying.
#1: Ivy - winner in the category plant with the biggest Sisyphus-effect.
It is senseless to try to remove it. It always will come back. I know it. I tried it, even with a mini excavators... it is senceless, truely :-)
