The Little Misses were slightly more human which was a relief.
They did still squabble a lot which is unusual for them and very depressing! I hear them shouting things at each other that they hear from me: "Answer me!", "Look at me when I'm talking to you!", "That's not kind", "Stop whining", "You're being very naughty", "Don't snatch!" etc etc. All viciously screeched at each other while they're fighting over some toy. Sigh!!
But it was a much better day.
We blew eggs and painted them, we took the tops off eggs to plant cress in and make cress heads, then we obviously had scrambled eggs for lunch!
A bit of Angelina Ballerina, some reading and some housework took us through to Miss E's swimming.
I was very touched today by a call from one of my oldest friends and a text from one of my newest friends - within five minutes of each other! - wanting to check that I was OK and telling me not to be so hard on myself. It made my day! Things do feel a bit tough at the moment but I have lovely friends and people who care about me.
Papa came round to babysit the Little Misses and Mr K and I headed out to see Skyfall. Bloody brilliant!!
We arrived at 7.50pm which was the screen opening time. I'd thought that would be plenty of time to get decent seats. Nope!! There were no seats to be had apart from in the very front rows! Mr K was fantastic and got two separate groups of people to move up so we got two fab seats on the aisle halfway up. Perfect!
I'd sneaked in our usual 6" subway sandwiches and drinks, and we also bought popcorn and peanut M&Ms. Greedy things that we are!!!
It was so nice to be out. On a Friday night!!
