Bee on apple blossom

This solitary bee visited our little apple tree this evening much to my delight. We spent the afternoon getting stuff for the mini pond and starting to silicone up the plughole so it becomes watertight. The first stuff we had bought I realised today was not suitable for aquatics as it had a fungicide in it so after a bit of a search we got some aquatic friendly stuff but it takes much longer to cure unfortunately so won't be filling the pond anytime soon - end of the week I think.
