A trip to Whitby

I took a coach with my friends from our social club to spend the day in Whitby. Couldn't have asked for nicer weather and there was a very pleasant breeze blowing in from the sea. Once off the coach I took my leave of the others and headed straight for the Abbey Steps and spent some time looking round the church yard of St Mary's Church. Then headed into the grounds of Abbey House where I enjoyed a lovely cappuccino and fruit scone - delicious. Then a went on to explore the rest of the town. I took many pictures which I will soon post.  The extra is a shot of the rear of Abbey House, now a Youth Hostel.
