A welcome shower

A short sharp shower was very welcome late this afternoon, as the garden badly needs a little - just a little - rain!
Walking to Bookclub this afternoon, however, was quite a hot task, carrying the new books in my basket. But I met a friend who took some from me, and we admired all the colourful flowers in the gardens as we walked. Chelsea has nothing on our village- perhaps!!
