Ruibarbo

There's this fantastic fruit and veg shop on Church Street. It's all local produce but they also bring in fancy organic stuff: Turkish figs, moscatel grapes, guavas, kumkwats, Dutch rhubarb (I guess English rhubarb is not in season?). I grabbed a couple of stalks and brought them to the till = £2.74; yer man gave me a look like 'Are you sure in the current economic climate you want to spend £2.74 on rhubarb?'. Ah, you see, but I have a passion for crumble!
