Spiral Seed

When I moved the geraniums to the greenhouse I saved a seeding head to see what the seeds were like. Today I found out. Several of these amazing seeds were spreading themselves about. This one is on a flower from the same plant.

Today was chilly, with a gusty nor’wester and large scattered raindrops. All five mantises were out on show, though the flies were lying low.

After a day and two nights of disruption and hardly any sleep, I felt rather good today. See yesterday’s blip.
