Red Berries and Blue Sky

I spent the morning catching up with bits and pieces related to students and balancing our bank accounts for the end of the month. Then I watched the Formula One Qualifying and anyone who knows me well will know that I was happy with the result.

Do not be fooled by the blue sky in this picture. We have had sunshine and blue sky, but also some very dark clouds this morning; it is also very cold. I did not think there were many berries on our tree, which we were once told was a Rowan tree, but which has now been identified as a Stranvaesia (Photinia davidiana). Well whatever it is, there are a lot of berries at the top of the tree on the side facing south.
