Everything's Coming Up Roses

One of the rose bushes has suddenly sprung to life and is full of buds. I'm sure it had pale peach roses last year. They're now looking distinctly pink.

I had a very enjoyable solo trip into Cambridge where I got a lot done in a short amount of time. 

A couple of hours in the garden this afternoon with my kindle was very pleasant.
