Irony.
I've been researching new hobbies, and to fit in with my love of upcycling, I thought I would make myself a sign, one of those gone fishing, gone surfing, find me in the garden, prosecco or bust type signs. This is what happens when you let your brain take over. The soldering iron belongs to Giles, an old faithful with a bit of a wonky nib, and the wood was a bit hard and gnarly. I will try and be a bit more positive next time. I made the rope though with a kumihimo loom. It worked out ok!!
I went for my echo first thing this morning. The radiographer or clinical physiologist to give her the correct title was obviously not happy. No small talk. Anyway she phoned to ask me to go back for a repeat echo, turns out the keyboard was knackered and she was not happy with the measurements. So a repeat test in a new room and the first one deleted. She gave up her lunch break to fit me in. Cardiology is no longer a dirty word. Visited the Anchor Unit, preliminary bloods for chemo which starts on Thursday. Apparently we get treated to a film and possibly even a manicure or massage. Can't wait. More irony...Sorry.
