Today I have hit my 2700th blip, not an official milestone, but these -00 blips keep me motivated.

It's going to be one of those simple, kick back and relax days.  In that spirit, I selected the often overlooked female house finch relaxing in an ocotillo.  It's a wonderful day. At 91°/33° at noon, it's exceeded the forecast high but with the super low humidity feels several degrees cooler.  There's a wonderful breeze and a gorgeous blue sky.

I'm about to meet my friends from the political club which I served as president.  We had to disband on 1 May 2014 but the five of us have gotten together once a month since.  Originally, there were two more but Kay moved to Bellingham, WA and Rosa is in a memory care facility.  Maybe today we'll sit outside at Posada Java.  There won't be too many more days like this to enjoy.

I'll spend the evening with Mom.  She seems to be doing pretty well after I discussed the need to provide better nutrition and hydration to the agency.  I buy the food but they should prepare a more well-balanced meal than a sandwich every day.  It's working better now.  In all things, communication is the key.
