Sunrise

I knew that I wouldn't have time for a lunchtime walk today, because I would be finishing work early and visiting friends for the evening. So after dropping G at Longbridge railway station this morning for her journey to work, I made a quick stop at the car park by the Lickey Hills visitor centre.

The sun had only just risen and though it was fairly cloudy and actually raining where I stood, the sky towards the eastern horizon looked to be almost on fire through a break in the clouds.
