Dog Rose

The only shots I took today was of the new crop of these dog roses which have sprung open in the last few days. I hadn’t been on this route for a walk for over a week now and the trees and bushes have really filled out. The smell from these flowers was lovely. A bonus bug too (very tiny).

This was an early walk - I had some jobs to do for Mrs madwill (preparations for her TV appearance in a couple of weeks) and then I had to go to Doncaster to collect granddaughter from school and take her to nursery - things should be a lot simpler in September as she will be at school all day! There will of course be the additional ‘problem’ of the second grandchild to visit… :-)

Got home mid afternoon and had to get on with more of of Mrs madwill’s jobs… which involved running the cleaning cycle on the printer numerous times trying to get a decent quality for the labels I was printing.

Sadly failed to fix the printer and so have had to dig out an old one to try tomorrow
