Iridium Point Germany

It's late and we've had a busy day, so I can't get my head around this. Iridium is a very hard metal, but apparently fountain pen nibs marked like this don't have iridium tips, and probably weren't made in Germany! It's complicated!

We've had two days with the father-in-law so I've got a bit of catching up to do on blip!
