Wide Wednesday . . .Countryside

This is the countryside where people have what we call life style blocks.  10 acres where there is room for a horse for the children, hens, a few sheep, an orchard, a few rows of vines.  What ever they like really.  This is looking towards Brightwater.  The westerns hills are under the cloud.  On the Richmond ranges, which are behind where I took the photo, had a light dusting of snow.  The extra is from another country roadside.  This paddock had salad greens growing.  Behind the first row the other rows had been chopped low.  I guess a machine does that and maybe they get several cuts.
