Royal Wedding party

Katie has been so excited for the Royal Wedding! She was 18 months old for the last one so doesn’t remember it. Consequently we decided to have a party for her and her friends. We’ve spent the last week or so finding lots of tacky royal wedding decorations and things, searching exciting mocktails and coming up with outfits. Katie and lydi both decided they would like veils and wedding skirts, which I finished this morning, and both wanted posh wedding hair. Katie took charge of the cucumber sandwiches, lydi of the cocktails (I taught her how to make tequila-free sunrises), Ellie of the wedding cake .... it was fabulous! We decorated their house, ohhed and ahhhed at the beautiful wedding and had a glorious time. The mummies had a small glass of bubbles each too! A lovely morning!

We went home for some music and chill out time before youth club. It all went a bit wonky though as she decided she was very tired and just went to sleep for two hours! We were late to youth club as a result, oops!
