For the love of Christ
Christ's Pieces in central Cambridge is usually a lovely chilling spot, except when 11-year olds threaten to stab you on it (see Saturday).
I'm doing reasonably well in juggling tasks and managing stress ahead of tomorrow's trip departure. In my job the UK office segments currently tend to be the most stressful as they are when all of the projects I'm involved in overlap and the over-commitments and missed deadlines become a source of anxiety. When away somewhere far-flung I'm usually able to immerse myself in the project, and the other stresses become less important.
This time I've successfully been winding up some loose ends on Liberia and South Sudan to enable me to focus as best as I can on Mozambique.
