Wilderness Walk

A guided tour of the 18th Century pleasure grounds - or what is left of them. Gothic "ruins", a hermitage, a mosaic floor made of sheep's knuckle bones and a tree that appears to have leaves from two different species (oak and hornbeam) growing on the same branch. Funny how all these things have been virtually on my doorstep all of my life and I've only just discovered them!
