Firework pie

The kitchen is my domain and C is happy never to enter the business end of it. However, for our US-themed dinner a couple of weeks ago, C make a pecan pie. It had to be wheat-free because of various intolerances (I thought I was the only intolerant one around here) and so was made with gluten-free flour and xanthum gum.

It was totally delicious and C has made another since.

This is now the third, that we are taking with us to a fireworks party this evening..
