The Audience
Tuesday, so it must be acting class. And a poor attendance - down to seven of us. But despite that, after a slow start, it wor quite a bit of fun. Soliloquys! Well, that’s what we pub bores are well practiced in anyway. Grannies sooking eggs, n’that.
After all that playing, I was taken for a pie and a pint. Ostensibly to celebrate becoming a two pensioner household. But probably just to take me to the environs of a certain women’s outfitters. Sorry, I mean ladies.
Later, along to see A Quiet Place at Ocean Terminal. Just what was needed after tiring of Westworld - a good immediate story, gripping and even yes, tense. But see truly, if there were zombies and other biting nasties wandering about, wouldn’t we all be in like motorcycle leathers and stuff rather than jeans and tshirts? Anyway, it was back to watch Cumberbatch in Patrick Melrose. Tour de force or whit? I must stick in at these classes.
