Meconopsis

A train journey from Glasgow to Edinburgh and then it was walking all the way ..... nearly 10 miles in all!

The Botanic Gardens was bursting with colour .... azaleas and rhododendrons at their best but for obvious reasons I just had to blip the blue Poppy.

From the gardens we walked up to the National Museum of Scotland where we spent a very enjoyable couple of hours before meeting up with our niece and her partner for a most welcome pizza tea.

Another train journey .... this time from Edinburgh to Kirkcaldy and then on by car to Elie ....just feeling a bit tired now!
