SPACE DAY

I’m thoroughly exhausted but we had a great day. In fact one of my LSA said it was AWESOME which was great as a month ago I was so unhappy I had a few tears in school!!!
The children arrived to a class covered in foil!!! A pile of space books and a locked case. They then had to solve a series of problem to get the code for the padlock. There was another case inside and so another set of challenges were solved. The prize was a rocket; which we pump and shot in the air in the afternoon along with our space picnic. We also painted our helmets and made a space station. Great fun was had by all.
