Happy Valley
Very little progress with the DIY today, though I did manage to fill the last few holes in the woodwork and plaster, ready for sanding tomorrow.
Janet called round after lunch, and stayed for a cup of tea - good to catch up with her exploits. She was planning to be mid-way through a hike from Berwick in East Sussex to Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland now. But, sadly, she twisted her foot 5 days in to the walk, and has been told to rest it. But she’s not very good at resting!
A walk in Happy Valley this evening with MrM, who was not pleased at seeing grey squirrels in the woods. It was a lovely walk all the same. When we were last there, 3 weeks ago, the bluebells weren't yet in flower. We should have returned sooner, for today they're past their best, and their colour is fading. Still lovely though, and as well as the bluebells there are wild flowers in profusion.
