Sea shell

Once home to a sea creature, this shell was picked up on an extraordinary sail voyage from Singapore to somewhere near Pulau Tioman. It has long been an ornament at home and today it was placed outside in the golden gravel as it has no practical use. The sun and rain will weather it, perhaps other creatures will shelter from storms and it will still remind me of a plan to revisit the South China Sea.
