The Language of Flags

If I designed a flag it would be flowery
with, naturally, flag iris, and anemones.
If every land on earth had floral flags,
perhaps we'd all encounter fewer enemies.

Then again ... there was the war of the roses! ;-)

Yesterday's haze has turned to cloud today. And it's gone a little cooler. Perhaps no bad thing as I'm off to dance in a line shortly.

The flag irises my sister planted in our pond years ago, when it was my parents' pond, and the anemones (the first I've ever grown) grew from bulbs that I bought in Funchal, Madeira in February.
