'London Grammar'
The beautifully controlled contralto voice of Hannah Reid, superbly produced with floating harmonies that somehow rise above the crazy political crises, in the form of their 2nd album 'Truth Is a Beautiful Thing' (Trump take a note of THAT title), arrived this morning.
Too tired after yesterday's New Forest wanderings and weather to inspire a damp cold flannel, I've largely had this CD playing, quite a few times.
Those who prefer to have their brains sonically pulverised by Slipknot and such will NOT like these angelic tracks as they float above and beyond boring everyday life.
For those who like TV's "Peaky Blinders' (I do not) the trailer song, a cover of the Classic Chris Isaak 'Wicked Game' is a cover by this band (not on this album, though).
The shot was taken by macro lens of the actual CD cover, under a fluorescent lamp.
I had kind of intended to go out and get something creative of the rain, but instead you can have some sunny LG.
