Al Fresco

This is where I am supposed to sit and eat my lunch most days for the next few months. It's next door to the office.

It was cloudy this morning, as predicted by the Met Office gurus, but the sun was due to appear at lunchtime. I waited a bit past my normal break time - no sun. I ate my "lunch" (pineapple and blueberry smoothie) at my desk - no sun. I went for coffee at the church cafe - no sun.

I came out of the cafe to go back to work - not a cloud in the sky. There was some grumpiness...

Anyway, it was a good day. I was on my own in the office, so being free of most distractions, I had a very productive day.

I made tarka dal for dinner. Cheap, quick and totally wonderful.

Now it's the usual Thursday night struggle to stay awake until bedtime.
