Almost 65 years ago!

I should post this next week really, but I would probably forget (and I haven't a Blip for today).
This is one of the glass tumblers that Brighton Council gave to all primary school pupils to mark the Queen's coronation on 2nd June 1953. Secondary school pupils (of which I was one) got a book 'Elizabeth our Queen' 
I still have my book - this must have been my brother's (he would have been 7 at the time).
What a different world it was in 1953 - so much has changed - but we still have the same Queen!
