Eight Tonnes of Testosterone
Raining almost all day, but a good day nevertheless. Probably the most special moment was when the lads were persuaded to sing in the Adega, and gave a wonderful rendition of Before the Throne. Sadly, my camera is really playing up, and I lost all but one bad photo of the moment.
Took them later to see the Outeiro Menhir, a 5.6m granite phallic symbol, the largest in the Iberian Peninsula, all the more impressive because of its location, standing alone on a flat plain.
The whole time we were out, I had a slight niggle that I'd left the gas on under the tomato sauce I was making. Sure enough I had, but wonderfully, it wasn't even very burnt.
