Adult Moorhen crossing one of the Inverness Campus lochans.
One of today's good deeds was rescuing a partially stunned Blue Tit that was sitting in the middle of the road. It escaped the wheels of about a dozen cars before I could pick it up. Hid it in a Beech hedge, out of sight from any cats or crows. It turned to look at me as I put it down, so was starting to come around.
Tonight, cleared a load of small bits of glass from the Kessock Bridge, and cyclepath leading to it. Hopefully a few less punctures for everyone.
