Blue Ridge Mountains, Tennessee

Our travels today took us through the Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina to the Blue Ridge Parkway which runs for about 469 miles through Virginia and North Carolina linking Shenandoah National Park and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  It is, to say the least, a spectacular drive.  My favorite moment was stopping to watch seven juvenile eagles soaring aloft, almost as though they were playing some sort of game.
