Portland Silo Art

Trisharooni and I went out to see some HUGE commissioned street art (for want of a better description) in the nearby town of Portland. These huge silos were once part of the old Portland cement works. The artist is still working on the sunny northern side but the work seems quite complete at the shady southern end.

This had been Trish's second visit to the site and HERE is her earlier description of the project. The artist's name is  Guido Van Helten

Trish did suggest that we put up quite different pictures but now that I see the marvellous image that she has posted, I can't possibly hope to steal any thunder. I have uploaded four extras including one of a tiny Trish at work.
