There is definitely a trend for companies putting signs outside their shop with ‘witty’ jokes, or zany phrases - presumably on the premise that you will think “what wacky fun guys, I must buy lots of stuff from them”.

And I expect if they had drawn a bucket of poo status diagram to show their mood for the day it might have worked.

This, though, is lame (and the joke on the other side was worse).
