White Lilac

Another bloom in the garden is this very fine white lilac. We have the regular coloured ones as well, so doubtless you'll be seeing them before too long.
As you can see from the sky we had another sweltering day today. Plus 26 in the shade of the porch and (wait for it!) plus 46 at the gable end facing the full force of the sun. Yes, that's not a type, it was actually 46. 

Needless to say we are both assuming the colour of walnuts and the big outdoor work hasn't started yet!!!
