Making A Splash .

An early start in blazing heat to Halensee. No cygnets .Sat under a tree and was kept company by many blackbirds. A lame coot came to join me .All around were so many tiny darting birds .The water has gone in parts leaving an 'avian supermarket' .My extra shows a collage .I think these are a type of finch. Hope a Blip bird watcher can put me straight. Also in the extras a terrible image heavily cropped .This was one of two before me but very tiny,  fast & against the mud and reeds a nightmare to focus.Any ideas ?
My main is an action blip of a duck who was gasping for water and a cool off. I know just how it felt .27°c is too hot.
