Morning sun

An excellent warm and sunny start to the day. It feels like summer!

Gardening today for a friend who is unable to work in the garden she loves through ill health.
I understand and feel her sadness and frustration at not being able to do all the jobs she used to enjoy.

We both look forward to our gardening day once a fortnight and I see her spirits improve as we chat about plants and look round at what's growing and make a plan for what needs to be done.

The list gets longer as the day goes on. It's a never-ending list. But that's the nature of gardening after all.
