How to build a tower

These cups have been one of our best buys for euan. They have been building blocks, bath toys, garages for his cars and now he is learning his numbers with them (there is a number on each one and I ask "which is number 4, etc). Rhona is using them as a chew toy and she passes them from hand to hand too. She will get our moneys worth from them too I am sure!

We have had a fun day at home today. When we got up euan and I played racing while listening to kiddies songs. Euans new favourite song is the hokey cokey, although he was singing head, shoulders, knees and toes to us this evening. After we had been to asda for the shopping, we had lunch and then got the finger paints out. He actually enjoyed getting his hands messy today and made 3 pictures. We had some bread sticks and humous for an afternoon snack and then watched curious george the movie.

I gave Rhona her first taste of food today. A stick of cucumber. She seemed to enjoy gumming into it, probably because it was lovely and cold, until a wee bit got chewed off and swallowed and made her kowk. Will give her another bit tomorrow and see what she makes of it then.
